A recipient reaction in Liberia last year
Fatu, Monrovia
Fatu lives in one of the dangerous slums in Monrovia and has no access to power. She is unemployed and took in 11 kids that lost their parents to Ebola in her one bedroom zink shack.
She and kids were filled with joy upon receiving two lamps as she felt they could make a difference in their lives. The kids will now be able do their home work at night. They also help to keep away thieves at night. In tears she thanked the donors for their kindness and poured blessings on them as her Christmas was now lit up.
