Run Ebola Away in London

Run Ebola Away - London

Thanks to the dedication and hard work of our friends in London, the "Run Ebola Away" in London was arranged 15th November.

As part of the preparations, several TV interviews were carried out, including in Arise TV, and we had a similar "stunt" as in Oslo - walking up and down the streets with big posters and distributing fliers.

The event was arranged at The Old Blue Last 38 Great Eastern Street, London EC2A 3ES, and it started at 14:00 with registration for the run, while the run started at 15:00. The evening party was at the top floor at same venue from 19:00.

To the left is the map for the run, where people could choose how far and which route they would run (or walk, if they preferred).

At the venue it was possible to buy T-shirts, solar lamps/chargers and other articles.

At the After Run Party we registered people not only from London, but other parts of England too, as well as from abroad. We had nice music, good food and beverages, some information about the cause of action, and it was a successful party. See photos from the event to the right (click for enlargement).

Our fundraising goals were not reached, but we managed to raise significant attention and awareness, which is important too.

Thanks to all participants and contributors!
